The role:
As a key team member, you will lead the Purchasing and Stores division, steering them to establish a robust and sustainable supply chain of materials and components. Your role will involve maximising component quality and reliability while maintaining optimal inventory levels aligned with business requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experienced working as a Purchasing, procurement or supply chain manager - essential
Strong man management skills with experience leading teams of 5 or more people
Proven track record of attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy
Effective time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Comprehensive understanding of electronics buying process
Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in manufacturing industry as a buyer/procurement/purchasing manager
Previous experience working with subcontract manufacturers in the UK and offshore
Familiarity with MRP data integrity and maintenance
